Grey’s Anatomy Season 5 Finale Final Scenes

with the…. 007…and the…. then there was the….the…the…the coding… i can barely speak. this is the OMG moment of the episode. i own nothing SUBSCRIBE!

Where can I buy a simple anatomical model?

Y’know, those ones that can bend ANY way you want them to, and are good for drawing?

Preferrably wood? :D

I dont want to see muscles and stuff, I just want a basic body.

Anatomy 35- The heart (the whole organ)

There’s a mistake on the last two structures identified. The Myocardium is in the inside of the heart. the endocardium in the muscle in between the epicardium and the myocardium

Description: This model is a 3 piece dissectable skull. ( mandible, calvarium, skull ) The right side is painted to show muscle origins in red and insertions in blue. There are 138 individually identified anatomical bony landmarks and 38 muscular points indicated. These points are marked on the skull and keyed to an identification chart. The lower jaw is movable within it?s natural range. Held secure by a single spring affixed in the center of the maxilla extending to the lower jaw where it attaches via an eyelet to a fixed screw, allowing for ease of removal so the skull and mandible can separate for individual study. For superior detail, the teeth are separately molded and inserted into the skull for a more realistic approximation of the natural appearance. The skull is horizontally sectioned with removable calvarium to expose the internal features of the cranium. theanatomystore 678-776-8861

Question about Evolution?

i need some starting points for fossil, molecular, anatomical and biogeography evidence that all relates to evolution in general

The Task
In this task you will investigate the various types of evidence for evolution. You will be responsible for researching fossil evidence, structural evidence (anatomical and embryological), biogeographical evidence, and genetic evidence for evolution.

The Process
1.You will wear the hat of an anatomist (studies the structure of organisms), physiologist (studies the function of organisms), molecular biologist (studies genetics), geologist (studies the physical structure of the earth) and paleontologist (studies fossils).
2.You will research each of the various types of evidence for evolution (using resources provided and those you find on your own) and find 3-4 significant examples that illustrates why the evidence is so compelling. (Feel free to use the chart provided to help you organize your research and thoughts)

Please give me some points for each to start off with.

How the Body Works : Anatomy of a Nerve

Anatomy of a Nerve More than ten thousand million nerve cells and their fibers, or axons, make up the nervous system. The axons are grouped together in nerve trunks containing sensory fibers, which conduct information from the sensory organs to the central nervous system, and motor fibers, which carry information to the central nervous system of the body. The nerve fibers which carry information quickly are enclosed in a thick sheath made of the fatty substance myelin. They are called myelinated nerve fibers. The myelinated sheath has regular indentations along its length called the nodes of Ranvier. The nonmyelinated nerve fibers, which carry information slowly, are grouped together and enclosed in a single sheath. The anatomy of a nerve includes: the cell body, which is composed of cytoplasm and contains the cell nucleus; the nucleus, which contains the information needed to control the activity of the neuron; the dendrites, outgrowths of the cell body to which and from which they conduct impulses; the epineurium, a fibrous sheath that surrounds the whole nerve; the perineurium, the connective tissue sheath that surrounds bundles of nerve fibers; the endoneurium, the fine sheath of connective tissue around each nerve bundle; the axon, the extended fiber of the nerve cell which carries impulses to and from the cell body; the fatty myelin sheath, the insulating coat that separates the axon in a nerve bundle; the Schwann cell nucleus, the mechanism responsible for the

I am a college student majoring in nursing and next semester I will be taking Anatomy and Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology Lab. I would like to get a jump on studying so that I am prepared. What book(s) would you recommend?

Thanks!

Circulation

Goes over the big model: artery, veins, aorta, etc….

My sister needs a little help on finding an experiment for her Anatomy class. If you don’t know, Anatomy is about the body. She has already done a project on the sense of taste last semester, but needs something more complex this time around.

So, a science experiment involving the body will do. The materials would preferably be "around the house".
