Anatomy of Apple Design
About the project and FAQ Transparent House used its visualization capabilities to create a tribute to a company they greatly admire on the occasion of the iPad release. The idea was to show a glimpse into the history of this product giant by modeling some of the innovative products they’ve developed in their 3+ decade history. The animation was done entirely using 3Ds Max and V-Ray render and took about 10 days to complete. Professionally done 3D visualization is the perfect tool to present concepts or new products in a beautiful, photoreal style, while creating a mood with music and conveying a message, through on-screen text or narration. This animation was an artistic exercise and not intended for commercial use. The animation is not affiliated with Apple or any third-party companies. We hope this animation will be used mainly as an educational tool for the 3d visualization or/and design industry. To answer some of the FAQ: – Yes. Everything you see in the animation is done completely in CG. We didn’t go through any kind of “trouble” to create this animation. We do visualization for the living and this particular exercise was so much fun! – We only used photographs available on the web for the modeling. – We didn’t include iMacs, iPods, Nanos and other products in the animation since we wanted to show products which in our opinion better relate to iPad. There were also some time limitations – we simply couldn’t fit every product in. Soundtrack is by Oleg Galkin done …

@Onixotto Wow, are all Apple fanatics as whiny as you are?
nicely made, but you forgot to put the iPod in the line
when apple announced the iphone, the app store wasn’t there
Interesting to see no iPod or iMac in there, or even a PowerMac (the G5 was a revolution at the time for a “consumer” level workstation with it’s 64bit multi-cpu architecture and outstanding case design).
Needs the iPod
they made too many to follow with lol
Were you talking about Windows??
waste of time
excelente video
Beautiful.
I still don’t see the point in an iPad other than reading books. Even then, I’d rather read a book on a laptop so I can lay down and not have to hold the screen up. Two thumbs up on the iPhone though…
Where is the G5??
remember the Quadra I loved that one.
amazingly beautiful
incomplete
If the case on the 1984 Macintosh were actually that white, I wonder how it would’ve been received by a market expecting beige. It is beautiful though!
Si esos son los productos más importanntes ¿ Donde Esta el iPod
Very nice but as we all know, it could go on and on. Hoping an “EP” extended trailer is forthcoming with the 20th Anniv. Mac, “iLamp” and UFO Airport base station. Thanks for this!
I miss the G4 Cube
Macintosh 1? Don’t you mean Macintosh 128k? Yes incomplete.
what about iPod?
maybe he couldn’t put more x)
anyway, great job, it was interesting [=
I don’t know if anyone caught this but on the 1st. Gen. iPhone it says it has a 3G Connection when in reality it doesn’t! Oh well, still an amazing video.
everything keeped getting sexier until I saw the ipad.
I laughed at it cause its a big silly ipod touch.
*kept
you guys should re-render in HD and possibly 3D (that would be so cool for those of us with nvidia 3d vision)
